a la Carte has been a part of Erie’s history for over 40 years. Nancy Walker of Erie originally opened the business in 1971 with a focus on stationary and needlepoint items. Our present location at the Colony Plaza has been home to the store for thirty years.
Nancy Walker’s four daughters- and even her granddaughter- have each worked at the store throughout its history; Daughter Mimi Sherwin has managed the store for the last 15 years.
